The VC selection process at Alvan Ikoku University of Education, Owerri, Imo State was cited
This was revealed in a statement signed by ASUU president, Christopher Piwuna,

The union further lamented the welfare of academics in public universities across the country,
ASUU added that it had ceaselessly warned the federal and state governments of the consequences of breeding a disempowered and disorientated intellectual workforce.
