‎The Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), has called on West African nations to domesticate the ECOWAS Protocol on Corruption

‎Fagbemi made the call on Tuesday during the Annual General Meeting of the Network of National Anti-Corruption Institutions in West Africa (NACIWA).
‎
‎The Minister said the move was to ensure that corrupt officials found no safe haven within the subregion.
‎
‎NACIWA, an anti-corruption network comprises of ECOWAS member countries which promotes regional cooperation in the fight against corruption.
‎
‎It’s current president is Ola Olukoyede, who also serves as the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
