‎The Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru, has received the newly appointed Chief of Defence Staff and the three Service Chiefs
‎The visit, took place on Tuesday, during a maiden courtesy visit to his office at the Ministry of Defence, Ship House, Abuja.
‎It reaffirmed the Minister’s commitment to building a cohesive defence leadership anchored on trust, partnership, and shared purpose
‎The visit also signalled the start of a renewed drive toward unified strategy and decisive action in safeguarding the nation’s territorial integrity and interests
‎According to a statement signed by the Minister’s Personal Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mati Ali, those in attendance were the Chief of Defence Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Olusola Oluyede; the Chief of Army Staff, Major General Wushishi Shaibu; the Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Ibrahim Abbas; and the Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Sunday K. Aneke.
‎The newly appointed Service Chiefs were also hosted by the National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, at his office in Abuja.
