The Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru, has received the newly appointed Chief of Defence Staff and the three Service Chiefs
The visit, took place on Tuesday, during a maiden courtesy visit to his office at the Ministry of Defence, Ship House, Abuja.
It reaffirmed the Minister’s commitment to building a cohesive defence leadership anchored on trust, partnership, and shared purpose
The visit also signalled the start of a renewed drive toward unified strategy and decisive action in safeguarding the nation’s territorial integrity and interests
According to a statement signed by the Minister’s Personal Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mati Ali, those in attendance were the Chief of Defence Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Olusola Oluyede; the Chief of Army Staff, Major General Wushishi Shaibu; the Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Ibrahim Abbas; and the Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Sunday K. Aneke.
The newly appointed Service Chiefs were also hosted by the National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, at his office in Abuja.
