The Federal Government has rolled out a ten million naira Tax Reform Challenge aimed at engaging Nigerian students in the country’s ongoing fiscal reforms.
Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms, Taiwo Oyedele, made the announcement on his official X handle.
The nationwide competition invites undergraduates and National Youth Service Corps members to create educative and creative content including articles, videos, podcasts, or social media posts highlighting Nigeria’s new tax policies.
Oyedele said the initiative seeks to promote tax education, raise public awareness, and encourage youth-driven dialogue on fiscal issues.
Entries will be judged for creativity, accuracy, and impact, with cash prizes of ₦5 million, ₦3 million, and ₦2 million for the top three winners.
Additional rewards, including gadgets and internships, will go to regional finalists who will serve as Tax Reform Youth Ambassadors.
Interested participants can apply via fiscalreforms.ng before December 31, 2025.
