‎President, Bola Tinubu has presented the revised National Migration Policy.

‎The presentation was made at the 2025 National Migration Dialogue organised by the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons in Abuja.

‎Represented by the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Dr. Doro Bernad, the President said the policy served as a guide for the nation’s migration governance architecture,

‎He added that it reflected the evolving realities of migration and aligned with the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, while ensuring coherence with regional and global instruments,
‎
‎President Tinubu added that as the nation reflected on national priorities, it was important to acknowledge the dynamics of labour mobility.
‎
‎The President further noted that migration was a defining issue at the time, and stressed that the Revised National Migration Policy provided a clear Implementation Plan and Monitoring Framework.
