The Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, in line with the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan 2021–2025, has officially launched the Enterprise Content Management System (ECMS).
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Didi Esther Walson-Jack made this known while speaking at the Go-Live event in Abuja,
She said the initiative was timely and necessary, particularly for a Ministry at the centre of gender equality, social inclusion, and protection of vulnerable persons.
Represented by the Permanent Secretary, Service, Policies and Strategies Office, Dr. Isiaku Mohammed, Walson-Jack described the launch as a clear statement of intent,
She further noted that reliance on fragmented, paper-based systems was no longer fit for purpose in a people-centred and policy-driven environment.
This marks a major step in the paperless digitalisation of government operations and the modernisation of public service delivery.
