The Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, in line with the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan 2021–2025, has officially launched the Enterprise Content Management System (ECMS).
‎The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Didi Esther Walson-Jack made this known while speaking at the Go-Live event in Abuja,
‎She said the initiative was timely and necessary, particularly for a Ministry at the centre of gender equality, social inclusion, and protection of vulnerable persons.
‎Represented by the Permanent Secretary, Service, Policies and Strategies Office, Dr. Isiaku Mohammed, Walson-Jack described the launch as a clear statement of intent,
‎She further noted that reliance on fragmented, paper-based systems was no longer fit for purpose in a people-centred and policy-driven environment.
‎This marks a major step in the paperless digitalisation of government operations and the modernisation of public service delivery.
