The Federal Government has condoled with the Kasuwan Daji communities in Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State over the attack on the communities by terrorists.

‎This was revealed in a statement signed by the Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Security, Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi, (Baraden Borgu), on Thursday.

‎According to him, the attacks were a reflection of the depravity of the terrorists and bandits who chose to violently disrupt the accustomed peace and livelihood of communities in Borgu

‎He stated that grief and sorrow could not adequately convey the depth of his feeling in response to the deliberate, and murderous attacks, just three days into the new year.

‎Abdullahi expressed sympathy to the families who lost their loved ones, and wished a quick recovery to the many who were injured during the rage of atrocities.

‎The Minister further urged indigenes and residents of Borgu to be comforted by the express determination of President Bola Tinubu in hunting down and bringing to justice those responsible

‎Reports show that over 42 people were said to have been killed while others were left with varying degrees of injuries as homes were razed, and undisclosed number of persons abducted during the attack.
