The Federal University of Technology, Minna has rolled out its programme of events ahead of the University’s 34th Convocation Ceremony and 43rd Founders’ Day celebration.
According to the timetable, the convocation week would run from the 23rd of January to the 1st of February 2026.
First in the line-up of activities leading up to main event would be a Juma’at prayer scheduled for this Friday followed by a church service on Sunday the 25th of January.
The main convocation ceremony, where degrees and prizes will be awarded, is scheduled for Sunday, 1st of February 2026, at Suleimanu Kumo Square, Minna.
Graduands are to collect academic gowns and invitation cards from the 26th of January through their respective school secretaries, with all payments made strictly into the university’s Treasury Single Account (TSA).
The University reminded graduands that attendance was mandatory as prerequisite to receive certificates and prizes.
Graduands are expected to present their original statement of results, clearance form, and valid identification during certificate collection.
