A 300 level student of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University Lapai has reportedly commuted suicide in his apartment off-campus
The deceased identified as Kelvin Danlami was a student of Computer Science at the University.
Kelvin who was found hanging from the ceiling of his off campus hostel did not leave any suicide note.
His remains have since been removed and deposited at the General hospital morgue in Lapai.
The Public Relations Officer at the university, Mr Baba Akote has confirmed the incident but did not give details.
However, the Secretary General of the Student Union at I.B.B.U Lapai, Mr Aliyu Abubakar has described the incident as sad and painful
He extended his condolences to the family and friends of the deceased on behalf of the entire student community of IBB University, Lapai
