‎President Bola Tinubu has mourned the passing of Kano-born ace sports administrator and community leader, Ibrahim Galadima, who died on Saturday at the age of 78

‎Tbis was revealed in a condolence message issued on Sunday by the President’s Spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga,

‎President Tinubu described the death of the former football promoter and administrator as a loss to sports administration and to the nation as a whole.

‎He added that Galadima’s contributions to the development of football, at both grassroots and elite levels, would be remembered for a long time.

‎The President also sympathized with Galadima’s family, the Federal Government and people of Kano State, as well as the sports community

‎Galadima had served as president of the defunct Nigeria Football Association (NFA), the precursor of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), between 2002 and 2006.
