‎Eberechi Eze has scored his first Premier League goal for Arsenal as the league leaders edged Crystal Palace 1–0.
‎The match, played at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, saw the former Palace midfielder strike shortly before halftime, finishing neatly after a set-piece to extend Arsenal’s lead at the top of the table.
‎The Gunners, who have now won seven of their nine league matches, remain four points ahead of Bournemouth and six clear of Manchester City.
‎Eze’s goal also marked Arsenal’s 11th set-piece strike this season, the highest across Europe’s top five leagues, underscoring their growing reputation as Set-Piece FC.
‎Arsenal dominated the second half but missed several chances to double their lead, including Gabriel’s header that rattled the crossbar.
‎Despite injuries to William Saliba and Declan Rice, Mikel Arteta’s men held firm for another clean sheet, their tenth in 13 matches across all competitions.
‎Eze received a standing ovation as he was substituted late in the game, with even Palace fans applauding his performance against his former club.
