‎The federal government has increased efforts to maintain peace in the nation’s health sector

‎This would be done through constructive engagement with the leadership of all health sector unions and associations.

‎The Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, made this known at a meeting held in Abuja during the weekend

‎He reaffirmed President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to the welfare of health workers, describing them as pivotal to achieving the Renewed Hope Agenda for the health sector.

‎Professor Pate emphasized that the administration had already made substantial investments with plans for even greater support.

‎He noted that the timely implementation of agreements recently reached with health unions was crucial to sustaining the efficiency of a healthcare system that had undergone major reforms over the past two years.
