The federal government has increased efforts to maintain peace in the nation’s health sector
This would be done through constructive engagement with the leadership of all health sector unions and associations.
The Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, made this known at a meeting held in Abuja during the weekend
He reaffirmed President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to the welfare of health workers, describing them as pivotal to achieving the Renewed Hope Agenda for the health sector.
Professor Pate emphasized that the administration had already made substantial investments with plans for even greater support.
He noted that the timely implementation of agreements recently reached with health unions was crucial to sustaining the efficiency of a healthcare system that had undergone major reforms over the past two years.
