The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has redeployed 66 senior officers across the country in a move to strengthen road safety operations.
According to a statement released on Sunday by the Corps Public Education Officer, Assistant Corps Marshal Olusegun Ogungbemide, the postings were approved by Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed.
Among the new appointments, ACM G. Ntukidem is now Corps Secretary at the FRSC headquarters, while ACM J.W. Toby takes over as Zonal Commanding Officer in Osogbo.
Others include ACM I. Abubakar, now in charge of Policy, and ACM A.M. Hassan, heading the Technical Service Department.
The reshuffle also affected several Sector Commanders, with new deployments in Delta, Kogi, Anambra, Kebbi, Bauchi, and Yobe States.
Corps Marshal Mohammed said the redeployment will enhance efficiency and urged motorists to cooperate with the new appointees to promote safer highways.
