‎President Bola Tinubu, accompanied by First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, has arrived in the United Kingdom for a two-day state visit aimed at strengthening bilateral ties between Nigeria and the UK.

‎The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communication, Sunday Dare, revealed on X that the President and the First Lady landed at London’s Stansted Airport on Tuesday

‎Dare described the visit as historic, emphasizing that it was a reset in relations between both countries and expected to deliver trade deals, security agreements, among others.

‎The presidential aide also revealed that, from the airport, the President and the First Lady began the drive to Windsor Castle.

‎At Windsor Castle, the UK monarch would invite the President and his wife to view a special exhibition of items from the Royal Collection related to Nigeria.

‎The state visit is the first by a Nigerian president in 37 years, with President Tinubu being the first to be hosted by the British monarch at Windsor Castle.
