President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Professor Chukwuma Soludo on his re-election as Governor of Anambra State,
He described the result of the election as a resounding affirmation of Soludo’s visionary leadership and remarkable progress recorded under his administration.
This was revealed in a statement issued on Sunday by the Presidential Spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga,
President Tinubu lauded the people of Anambra State, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and security agencies for ensuring the peaceful and credible conduct of the governorship election.
He added that the victory of the opposition All Grand Progressives Alliance (AGPA) in the election underscored the strength of the nation’s democracy,
The President also noted that Soludo’s victory, which secured him a second term in office, placed him among the few leaders in Anambra’s political history to achieve such a feat.
He further urged the electoral body to sustain and improve on the standards to further deepen democratic process.
