‎President Bola Tinubu is expected to sign the amended Electoral Act into law this month,
‎Senate President Godswill Akpabio made this known on Tuesday during an emergency plenary session
‎According to him, the President should be able to sign the amended Electoral Bill into an Act of Parliament within the month of February,
‎The Senate also constituted a 12-member committee that will work with the House of Representatives to make the versions of the bills passed by both bodies compatible
‎Akpabio asked the committee to take the work as a matter of urgency adding that the expansion of the committee followed consultation with the leadership and in a bid collaborate the House of Representatives.
