‎President Bola Tinubu has nominated Mr Taiwo Oyedele as the Minister of state for finance, replacing Dr Doris Uzoka-Anite.
‎This was made known in a statement issued by the Presidential Spokesperson on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, on Tuesday
‎He revealed that Uzoka-Anite would move to the Ministry of Budget and National Planning, as the Minister of State, her third portfolio in the administration.
‎According to the statement, President Tinubu had conveyed the nomination of Oyedele to the Senate for confirmation in a letter to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.
‎Until Oyedele’s nomination as minister, the Ondo State born was the chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms, which overhauled the nation’s tax system.
‎He is an economist, accountant and public policy expert.
