President Bola Tinubu has reassured citizens that the country will overcome the recent surge in violence and security breaches. The President gave the assurance in a statement posted on his official X Handle on Sunday, while presiding over an extended high-level security session at the State House, Abuja. The meeting comes on the heels of the waves of abduction and security threats across the country. He affirmed that those attempting to destabilise the nation would not succeed against the administrations resolve to restore peace and stability.
President Tinubu also stated that the government was reviewing the latest security reports and taking decisive measures to stabilise affected areas and safeguard citizens. He added that he was receiving continuous briefings and has directed the security services to respond with speed, precision, and unwavering resolve. The President further emphasized that as Commander-in-Chief, he remained fully dedicated to the security of all Nigerians.
