‎The Commander of the 23 Brigade, Brigadier General Amechi Agwu, has reaffirmed the Nigerian Army’s commitment to the welfare of corps members and residents
‎Brigadier General Agwu who is also the Acting Commander, Sector 4 of Operation Hadin Kai, made the pledge during the commissioning of a newly renovated corps members’ lodge within the Gibson Jalo Cantonment in Yola, Adamawa State.
‎He described the project as part of ongoing efforts to improve living conditions and boost morale among young graduates serving in the barracks.
‎Agwu stated that the renovation aligned with the command philosophy of the Chief of Army Staff, which focused on transforming the Army into a more resilient force
‎According to the commander, providing conducive accommodation for corps members would improve their productivity,
‎He further urged the beneficiaries to take proper care of the facility, while assuring that more people-oriented projects would be executed to improve the welfare of personnel and residents of the cantonment.
